Remark: KLM pilot de Vree takes off at 09:00 with the illustrious Fokker F. VII H-NACC from Waalhaven airport for the continuation of the scheduled flight Schiphol-Paris when he suddenly ends up in very thick fog near Wolverthem (15 km NW of Brussels) . He can no longer orient himself. De Vree flies around the area for about 20 minutes, looking for a way out of the mist, and at some point lowers the aircraft to gain ground visibility. Local residents heard the aircraft at an estimated height of 50 metres. At this height, de Vree must have suddenly seen a forest and, because of the impossibility of moving back, must have looked for a suitable place to make the emergency landing. However, one wing hits the ground. The plane jumps up a few times and falls apart in the cornfield of farmer van den Broek. Both occupants are killed instantly.

Remark: As the weather conditions were deteriorating, the board of the Dutch National Company KLM decided to move the aircraft that was parked in Haamstede to a safe place in Rotterdam, and asked three technicians to do so. While taxiing, the aircraft was caught by strong winds, went out of control and came to rest upside down. All three occupants were uninjured and the aircraft named 'Zwaluw' was damaged beyond repair.

Remark: After about an hour and a half of flying, engine #1 failed and the captain
decided to return to Constantinople.
Once there, the entire area turned out to be under low clouds and attempts
to find San Stefano flying above as well as below the clouds failed.
And so it was decided to fly back to Constantinople.
There the pilot flew into a seemingly cloudless valley in order to reach the airfield of the
approach south. After making a turn, however, this also turned out to be completely the case
closed and, moreover, so narrow that it was impossible to turn back.
The pilot tried to climb out of the valley on his instruments flying in the clouds, but
after about 20 seconds the aircraft started to hit treetops and shortly afterwards it was flying
at a flat angle against the hill.
The aircraft was severely damaged and written off.
